In STO there are multiple command line arguments available for debugging purposes and displaying additional information.
This thread will list known command line arguments, if you have discovered a command line argument please contact me and I will add it to the list.
-showfps
Will show a frame rate counter at the top right of the screen while in-game.
-showmem
Will show the memory usage of the game, including video memory in the top right of the screen.
-netgraph

By default the game will already connect to these servers.

208.95.186.12

Hit the Enter key to continue
Will also tell you if any other command line parameters are invalid.
–NoAutoRotateLogs
Will create a single file for each log type instead of timestamped logs.
Starting up STO without the launcher:
Using multiple command line parameters one can launch the game whilst completely avoiding the launcher.
There are some advantages and disadvantages to this.
Advantage
By avoiding the launcher you can start the game faster as you don't have to sit through the whole 'connecting to patch server' and saves a whole click of a mouse button!
Useful if the launcher doesn't always work for you.
Disadvantage
When Cryptic releases an update you still need to use the launcher to download and install the update.
Connecting to Tribble and Redshirt require different addresses and parameters which I haven't mined yet.
Starting the game without launcher can be achieved by adding the following parameters to a Shortcut that links to the GameClient.exe
-locale English -server 208.95.186.11 -server 208.95.186.32 -server 208.95.186.13 -server 208.95.186.12
Other than the install location the Target field should look like this:
'C:Star Trek OnlineLiveGameClient.exe' -locale English -server 208.95.186.11 -server 208.95.186.13 -server 208.95.186.12 -server 208.95.186.37
Additional notes
Make sure you run everything as Administrator.
Parameters can also be added via the launcher by going to Options > Command Line (bottom option)
For Steam users you can add parameters by right clicking the game in the Steam Library > Properties > Set Launch Options…
For Arc users use the STO launcher
For Mac user I have no idea and I'm not going anywhere near those things to find out
Some of these commands, like -showfps -showmem -netgraph can also be used in-game by replacing the - with a / but will reset once you restart the game, turning them into a start-up parameter will save you having to re-type the commands each time you start the game.
